Paul is an ordained Presbyterian minister, the founder/CEO of Workforce Chaplaincy Inc., and a chaplain with the Visalia Police Department. He received accreditation through the Association of Professional Chaplains, as well as the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (CISM). He currently serves on the Tulare County Suicide Prevention Taskforce and has served two California congregations as an Associate Pastor.

Paul received his Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA in 1999.  In 2010 he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min), with a special emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Paul completed his dissertation entitled “The Dawn of Workplace Chaplaincy--A Vital Vocation for Missional Ministry.”

He earned a B.A. degree from California State University, Fresno in Radio and Television Journalism in 1993 (receiving the "1993 Outstanding Radio-Television News Graduate" award, from his internship with a local ABC News Affiliate).

He also served as a hospital chaplain at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA, specializing in caring for patients and their families in the Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Paul resides in Visalia, CA with his beautiful wife, daughter, and two sons.
